Chapter 1: Context
ok so as everybody knows i learned about the local production of comet very soon after I learned about comet. coincidence. nice.
Yet then after the student-parent meeting at the start of the semester I realised that the midterms will coincide with the day that the production ends. And I can squeeze out half a day between my last ap exam and the midterm to watch the musical.
yet I hesitated since mom’s probably get pretty pissed off for a bit regarding this. quite dumb innit but still I managed to persuade my parents about a month before the production and after a lot of unnecessary chitchats it finally fruits. Mom used to tell me “if you dont do your psych well I will stop you going to Hong Kong” under frustration and I fucking believed to her! shit.
and then about three days before it opened i finally finished negotiating with my mom about this shit. and fast forward to when i begin preparing it.
